Aimed At The Gaps First
We start with the questions where competitors are named and you aren't, and the sources those answers lean on that don't mention you.
Who Gets Recommended
When a customer asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Claude who to call, the answer names a few businesses. Every week we find out whether yours is one of them, which competitors get named instead, and what those answers draw on. Then every month we fix what we can reach: your Google Business Profile, your listings, your reviews and the answers on your site.
For local service businesses anywhere in the U.S.
Why It Matters
A search results page shows ten links and lets your customer compare. An AI assistant answers with a short list of names. If your business isn't on that list, the customer who asked may never see your name, and you can lose the call without knowing it. Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode are counted in your Search Console, mixed in with ordinary searches. ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude report nothing to you at all. So Care reports both: what the assistants say when your customers ask, and the Google searches your Search Console shows.
Contractors, law firms, medical and dental practices, and home service companies are asked about this way every day. "Who's the best roofer in Clearwater?" "Which family law attorney near me has good reviews?" The businesses named in those answers are your real competition, and they aren't always the ones you'd guess.
Every Week
Head To Head
Every report carries a week-by-week table like this one: the share of answers that named you, next to the businesses named most for your questions. Tell us which competitors matter to you and we keep up to five of them in the comparison.
| Business | Week 1 | Week 2 | Week 3 | Week 4 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Your business | 8% | 8% | 13% | 17% |
| Competitor A | 42% | 40% | 41% | 38% |
| Competitor B | 25% | 27% | 23% | 24% |
| Competitor C | 17% | 13% | 15% | 13% |
Why the sources matter. AI assistants don't invent their short lists. They draw on what they find: review sites, directory listings, Google Business Profiles, local news and business websites. When a competitor keeps getting named, the cited sources usually show where the assistants are reading about them, and where they aren't reading about you. That's where the monthly work goes.
The Work, Not Just The Report
A report that only tells you you're missing is half a service. Care includes the work:
We start with the questions where competitors are named and you aren't, and the sources those answers lean on that don't mention you.
Kept current, with one to four new posts a month, each one approved by you before it goes up. It's one of the first places assistants and Google's local results read about you.
Your business name, address, phone, hours and website made to match across the directories that list you, so no source contradicts another.
Review requests set up and kept running to the customers you choose, such as everyone whose job has closed. Never filtered for happy customers, never paid for.
One new answer page or FAQ each month, written for a question the report shows you losing. You approve it first. We publish it if we host your site, or hand it to your web provider ready to post.
Each month you get a list of exactly what we did, next to the weekly report, so you can see the work and watch the answers change.
Start To Finish
We ask the assistants a handful of questions your customers ask and send you what came back: what they said, who they named and what they cited, with a written 90-day plan: what we'd work on first and what we'd do each month. No charge and no obligation, and the plan is yours to keep.
We propose up to 30 questions built around your services and your area. You approve, change or replace them. Only approved questions are asked.
Every approved question goes to four AI assistants: ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude, plus any you add as an optional paid add-on, such as Meta AI, Grok, DeepSeek or Qwen. Each question is also searched on Google from your area, for Google's own AI answers and where you rank in its results and map of local businesses. Your private report link updates with the answers, the competitors named, the sources cited and your Google rankings.
The questions where competitors are named and you aren't, and the sources the answers lean on that don't mention you. Each gap comes with a recommended action.
Your Google Business Profile kept current with one to four posts a month, your listings kept consistent, review requests running, and one new answer page or FAQ for your site, aimed first at the gaps.
A written log of each month's work, and a weekly report that keeps running, so you can watch your share of the answers next to your competitors' yourself.
Where To Start
Most businesses start with the free snapshot. It shows you, with your own questions, whether there's a gap worth working on.

$1,000/ month
The Search & AI Visibility Audit is a one-time $499 fix of the basics Google and AI assistants read on your current site: structured data that states your name, address, hours and services correctly, your FAQs marked up, and sitemaps so every page gets found, with before-and-after results you can see. There's no secret AI markup, and we don't sell one: this is housekeeping that keeps the assistants from getting you wrong. It doesn't include the weekly answer report.
Get the Audit: $499The Competitor Brief is a one-time $750 report on up to eight businesses the AI assistants recommend instead of you: what they offer and do well, their reviews and published prices, where they're listed, why the assistants pick them, and what we recommend you do. Every figure links to its source. It's for use inside your business.

Care (Visibility, SEO, Competitor, Complete and Content Care, and the Content Engine) is billed monthly in advance with no long-term contract and no cancellation fee. The Brief and every report we send are for use inside your business, not for publishing or advertising. SEO Care, Content Care and the Content Engine need access to your Google Search Console, and the Content Engine to your site's analytics too.
Free, No Obligation
Tell us what you do and where. We'll reply within two business hours (after hours, by 10 the next business day) to confirm the questions to ask, then send you what the assistants said, who they named, and a written 90-day plan.
Straight Talk
There are shortcuts in this business, and the assistants and search engines are getting better at spotting them. We don't take them, and it's in the agreement.
Tested On Ourselves
We built this tracker for our own business and ask it our own customers' questions every week. The report you get is the same one we read about ourselves, on a private link only you and we can open.
Real-World Results
These are actual results, not a projection or a sample report. We run Visibility Care on ourselves, as our own first client, and post what the assistants said, up or down. The measure never changes: the same 20 questions our customers ask, word for word, put to the same 4 assistants (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude) every week. A single week can swing about eight points by chance, so every four weeks we also post the four-week average, and that average is the number to compare.
| Week | Answers naming us | How-to answers linking to us | Work done since the week before |

Latest week posted: week of October 26, 2026. Every four weeks we also post the four-week average; the next one follows the week ending November 15, 2026. No client has bought Care yet, so these are our results, not a client's; a client's results appear here only with their written permission.
Straight Answers
Currently four: ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude. Meta AI, Grok, DeepSeek, Qwen and others can be added as an optional paid add-on. We ask through each company's developer access. AI answers vary by person, place and time, so the report shows what we saw when we asked, not what every customer sees. Asked the same way every week, though, the trend is what tells you whether things are moving. If one stops being available to us, we may replace it with a comparable one, and we tell you.
The answers decide. Your competitors, for this purpose, are the businesses the assistants name for your customers' questions, which aren't always the ones you'd guess. The report shows the ones named most, and if there are particular competitors you care about, tell us and we keep up to five of them in the week-by-week comparison.
Yes, from your own data. Connect your Google Search Console and the report shows the real searches people ran on Google that showed your site: how often you appeared, how often they clicked, and where you rank, including the searches where you're on page one and nobody clicks. Those searches also shape the questions we put to the AI assistants. We also search each approved question on Google from your area every week, and report Google's AI Overview and AI Mode answers, where Google gives one, and where you rank in the regular results and in the map of local businesses. The monthly work still reaches Google, through your Google Business Profile, your listings, your reviews and your site's answers.
No, and be wary of anyone who does. The companies that run the assistants decide what they say, and they change how they decide without notice. What we promise is the work: the weekly report, the monthly profile, listing, review and answer-page work aimed at the gaps it finds, and a written log of what we did.
Only if a new customer is worth enough to you. Care costs $12,000 a year. If a new client brings you $1,000 in profit, one more client a month covers it; at $500 a client it takes two, at $250 four, and at $100 ten. Give it a quarter before you judge it: AI answers move slowly, and the weekly report shows you whether yours are moving. There's no contract, so you can stop after any month.
A business whose customers are worth $100 or less each: the math rarely works, so start with the free snapshot or the $499 Audit. A business with a marketing person who will do the work: a self-serve tracking tool may be all you need. A business the assistants already name in most answers to its customers' questions: the snapshot shows that, and we'll tell you. And anyone who wants a guaranteed recommendation: nobody honest can sell one.
You can. Self-serve AI tracking tools cost a fraction of Care and report what the assistants say. If someone on your team will do the work those reports point to, one of them may be all you need. Care is for businesses that want the work done: your profile, your listings, your review requests and a new answer on your site every month, with a log of each piece.
No, and be wary of anyone who sells one. Google's own guidance says no special optimizations, markup or AI files are needed to appear in its AI features, and that the usual SEO fundamentals still apply. The assistants build their answers from what's published about you: your site, your Google Business Profile, your listings and your reviews. That's where Care's work goes. Structured data still helps search engines and assistants read your name, address, hours and services correctly, which is why the Audit fixes it, but it's housekeeping, not a shortcut.
The weekly report shows whether the assistants name you more often, and your Search Console shows whether more people find and click your site. Neither can see the phone call that follows an AI answer, so we add a “How did you hear about us?” question to your contact form, with an AI assistant as one of the choices: on your site if we host it, or ready for your web provider to add. Have whoever answers your phone ask new callers the same question. Then you can count customers, not just mentions.
You do, before anything goes up. Every profile post, answer page and FAQ comes to you first, and nothing is posted without your approval. For law firms, medical practices and other licensed professions that review matters more: professional advertising rules apply to what's published, and you know your rules better than we do. We write from what you tell us and what's on your site, and point out any claim that looks like it needs support.
Yes. We ask the assistants a handful of questions your customers ask, send you what came back with a written 90-day plan, and walk you through it if you'd like. The plan says which questions we'd track, the gaps the snapshot found and what we'd do about them each month, and it's yours to keep whether or not you sign up. There's no charge and no obligation. Asking for one also signs you up for our newsletter, which you confirm by email and can leave any time.
You and us. Each client's report lives on a private link that isn't listed or linked anywhere, and it's also where you approve the questions we propose. Your report names other businesses and quotes what the assistants said about them, so it's for use inside your business: please don't publish it or pass it on.
Visibility Care is billed monthly with no long-term contract and no cancellation fee. Cancel any time by emailing support@baygeeks.com, by opening a ticket, or from the billing portal, and it runs to the end of the month you've paid for. Your profile and listing accounts stay in your name, and the answer pages we've delivered stay on your site. Ask, and we send you a copy of your weekly reports to keep. They stay for use inside your business, as they were while you were a client: they name other businesses, so please don't publish them or pass them on.
Search & AI Visibility Care, the Search & AI Visibility Audit and the Competitor Brief are sold to businesses under the Bay Geeks Commercial Master Service Agreement and its Exhibit C, accepted at checkout. Search & AI Visibility Care is billed monthly in advance at $1,000 a month, with no long-term contract and no cancellation fee; service runs to the end of the month already paid for. The Audit ($499) and the Competitor Brief ($750) are paid in full at checkout and refunded in full if cancelled before work starts; after work starts, the client pays for the work performed, up to the price, and the rest is refunded within 15 days. The AI Answer Snapshot is free and carries no obligation. AI answers are checked through each company's developer access and vary by person, place and time, so a report shows what Bay Geeks saw when it asked, not what every customer sees. Results in search engines and AI assistants are controlled by those companies and are not guaranteed. The comparison table above is an illustration with made-up figures. Bay Geeks, LLC is an independent IT service provider and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by OpenAI, Google LLC, Perplexity AI or Anthropic.
