Salespeople Suppressor

The Receptionist Salespeople Can't Get Past

Engineered to make salespeople not want to call you anymore. Our AI receptionist lets a cold caller make the whole pitch, asks a few good questions, then tells them, warmly and truthfully, that you don't buy from cold calls and to take your number off their list. If they call again, it remembers. Campaigns and pollsters get one polite, neutral no, too.

Free for 3 months on Voice & Text, then $99 a month. No contract.

Bay Geeks Salespeople Suppressor: 3 months free with a Voice & Text subscription. Dogs, not salespeople: a woman relaxing on a beach chair surrounded by happy dogs, a sales robot sealed in a bubble marked Off, and a man in a hammock with his dogs, reading his tablet in peace.

Go Ahead, Try It

Try To Sell Frank Something

Frank is our own AI receptionist, and he runs the Salespeople Suppressor on our real support line. This is his demo line. Call him, pitch him anything you like, and see how far you get.

Frank's line

(727) 308-5090

He picks up right away, tells you he's an automated assistant and that the call is transcribed. Pitch him for real and you get the real treatment, notes and all: we read them.

Need actual computer help? Frank will happily help with that too, or call us at 727-579-4335.

A Dramatization

How A Sales Call Goes

Based on the script Frank actually follows. Not a recording: we never publish real calls.

Frank

Thanks for calling Bay Geeks! I'm the Bay Geeks automated assistant, and this call is transcribed. How can I help you today?

Rep

Hi! Is this the owner? I've got a quick opportunity to get your business on page one of Google. Guaranteed.

Frank

Sure, go ahead, what have you got?

Rep

(Ninety uninterrupted seconds on guaranteed rankings, AI-powered growth and the last two spots in your area.)

Frank

So I can pass this along properly, who am I speaking with, and what's the company?

Rep

Jordan, with [an SEO company].

Frank

Thanks, Jordan. What results do your customers usually see, and how fast?

Rep

Page one in thirty days. Guaranteed.

Frank

And how is it priced?

Rep

$499 a month on a twelve-month agreement. But if you sign up today...

Frank

Thanks, that's genuinely helpful. I should be straight with you before you go: Bay Geeks doesn't buy from cold calls, so nobody's going to call you back about this. The owners do read these notes to keep up with what's out there. Please take this number off your list.

Rep

Could I just get fifteen minutes with the owner?

Frank

I can't book anything, sorry. Bay Geeks doesn't buy from cold calls. Take care, Jordan.

Three weeks later

Frank

Thanks for calling Bay Geeks! I'm the Bay Geeks automated assistant, and this call is transcribed. How can I help you today?

Rep

Hi, Jordan with [an SEO company], just following up on...

Frank

Hi Jordan. You called us a few weeks ago about guaranteed rankings, and the answer's the same: Bay Geeks doesn't buy from cold calls. Please take this number off your list. Have a good one.

Election season

Frank

Thanks for calling Bay Geeks! I'm the Bay Geeks automated assistant, and this call is transcribed. How can I help you today?

Caller

Hi! I'm calling for [a campaign] with a quick three-question survey about the upcoming election...

Frank

Thanks for calling. I should be straight with you: Bay Geeks doesn't take political calls on this line, so please take this number off your list. Have a good day.

On your line, the assistant uses your business name, and it only mentions notes if you have the Sales Intel Engine.

How It Works

A Polite, Final No

  • Spots a sales call by what the caller is doing: selling something to you, not asking about your services
  • Lets them pitch, then asks who they are and a few short questions
  • Tells them plainly: you don't buy from cold calls, nobody will call back, and please take this number off the list
  • Remembers the company, so a repeat caller gets that answer right away
  • Flag a number, and from then on it gets the assistant at ring zero and never reaches a person

Not selling? Normal help. Anyone who says they aren't selling gets normal help, right away, like any other caller. Callers your records list as customers are left out.

Straight Rules

Funny Page, Honest Assistant

  • Never pretends you're interested, has a budget, or will meet with them
  • Never says it's a person, and says it's an AI whenever asked
  • Never asks a rep for their company's confidential information
  • Says it once, warmly: no lecture, no gloating, no argument

Political Calls, Too

Do Not Call Doesn't Cover Them. Frank Does.

The National Do Not Call Registry has never covered political calls, and it does little for a business line anyway, so campaigns, parties, PACs and pollsters can call you all season. The Suppressor answers them too: no pitch, no survey, no debate. One polite no, and a request to take your number off their list.

The honest catch. Political callers don't have to honor the request, and a recorded robocall can't be asked anything at all. Flag a number that keeps at it, and it gets the assistant at ring zero.

Strictly Neutral

Same Words For Everyone

  • Same answer for every candidate, party and cause
  • Never answers a poll, never talks politics, never says how anyone votes
  • Never asks anyone's views, and notes only which organization called
  • A government office on official business gets normal help
  • On with the Suppressor; we'll switch it off for your line if you'd rather take those calls

Straight Answers

Salespeople Suppressor FAQ

Is this a joke?

Half. The page is meant to make you laugh. The product is real: it runs on our own phone line today, it's in our contract (Exhibit C, Section C9A), and you can call it right now at (727) 308-5090.

Isn't this mean to salespeople?

We built it not to be. It listens to the whole pitch, never pretends to be interested, never strings anyone along with a fake meeting, and tells them the truth once, warmly, without gloating. Someone working a call list is better off with a fast, honest no than a maybe that wastes their week.

Will it turn away my customers?

It's built not to. Callers your records list as customers are left out. Anyone who says they aren't selling gets normal help, right away, like any other caller. And when it isn't sure whether a caller is selling, it treats them as a customer.

Will the sales calls actually stop?

That's the idea: a rep who gets a polite, final no and a request to drop your number has nothing to come back for, and a company that calls again gets the answer immediately. We can't control every call list, so we don't guarantee the calls will stop.

Does it handle political calls?

Yes. The National Do Not Call Registry has never covered political calls, so campaigns, candidates, parties, PACs and political pollsters can keep calling. The Suppressor doesn't hear the pitch or answer the survey: it tells them, once and politely, that you don't take political calls on that line and asks them to take your number off their list. It uses the same words for every candidate, party and cause, never asks anyone's views or talks politics, and notes only the name of the organization that called. A government office on official business gets normal help. It's on with the Suppressor, and we'll switch it off for your line if you'd rather take those calls. Political callers don't have to honor the request, so we can't promise they'll stop.

What about a number that keeps calling?

Flag it. From your dashboard, or by asking us, you can flag any number, and from then on the assistant answers it at ring zero, before anyone on your team can pick up, and a flagged caller can never be transferred to a person. They can still leave a message, so a customer flagged by mistake isn't lost. One catch: if your phone rings first and only forwards the calls you miss, it still rings first, so forward every call to the assistant if you never want a flagged number to reach you.

What does it cost?

Voice & Text with the Suppressor is $1,500 setup and $150 a month for the first 3 months, then $249 a month for both, on one bill. Add the Sales Intel Engine too and it's $150 a month for 3 months, then $448. Already on Voice & Text? The Suppressor alone is free for 3 months, then $99 a month. Either way, there's no setup fee for the add-ons, we email you a reminder at least 7 days before the first full charge, and you can cancel any time. Voice & Text includes our AI chat assistant for your website.

Does it record the calls?

No audio is kept. Calls are transcribed, the assistant says so when it answers, and the transcripts belong to you.

What's the Sales Intel Engine?

An extra for Suppressor clients: free for the first 3 months, then $199 a month. Each week you get a report of who called, what they were selling and how they priced it, with our analysis of the competitors behind them. That analysis loops back into the Suppressor, so its questions, strategy and tactics keep improving.

The Salespeople Suppressor is an option for the Bay Geeks AI Voice Assistant, which includes the AI Chat Assistant, sold to businesses under the Bay Geeks Commercial Master Service Agreement and Exhibit C, Section C9A. The Salespeople Suppressor is $99 a month with no setup fee; its first three months are free when it is first added to an active Voice Assistant, once per client, with a reminder at least 7 days before the first charge. It includes 300 minutes a month of sales calls, with each minute beyond charged at $0.25, rounded up per call, including during the free months. The Sales Intel Engine is $199 a month with no setup fee and its first three months free, once per client, on the same terms. Bought together with the Voice Assistant ($1,500 setup, $150 a month), the add-ons are billed on the same invoice: $150 a month for the first three months, then $249 a month with the Salespeople Suppressor or $448 a month with both. Unless the client turns it off, the Salespeople Suppressor also answers political calls with the same neutral request to drop the number, and those minutes count as sales-call minutes. Bay Geeks does not guarantee that sales or political calls will stop or that every one will be recognized, and political callers may not be required by law to honor the request. Calls are transcribed and no audio is kept. The call on this page is a dramatization. Bay Geeks, LLC is an independent IT service provider.
