Technology at Your Own Pace

Technology moves fast, and it's easy to feel left behind, especially when a "quick fix" from a well-meaning relative leaves you more confused than before. Our technicians take the time to explain things in plain English, work at your pace, and never rush you off the phone or out the door. If something doesn't make sense the first time, we'll explain it again a different way.

We help with everyday needs like simplifying a cluttered desktop, enlarging text and icons for easier reading, untangling printer and email problems, and getting a new phone or tablet set up the way you like it. Most clients prefer an on-site visit so you can watch and ask questions in person, though remote support and pickup & return are always available too.

Long-Distance Family? We've Got You Covered

Live out of state and worry about a parent's or grandparent's computer back home? Our maintenance plans keep their machine patched and protected without you having to manage it yourself, and we cover the entire Tampa Bay area with on-site service, so if they need a technician to stop by in person, we're always happy to help. Many clients set up a standing plan once and then only need to call when something actually goes wrong.

Warning Signs of a Tech-Support Scam

Scammers specifically target older adults, and the tactics are fairly consistent. A few warning signs worth knowing:

  • An unexpected call claiming to be from Microsoft, Apple, or your internet provider about a virus
  • A pop-up warning that locks your screen and tells you to call a phone number right away
  • Anyone asking you to pay for tech support with gift cards, wire transfer or cryptocurrency
  • A caller asking you to install a remote-access program so they can "fix" your computer
  • Pressure to act immediately, and reluctance to let you hang up and call back

If you're ever unsure whether a call, email or pop-up is legitimate, hang up or close the browser and call us directly at 727-579-4335. We'd much rather answer a quick question than have you lose money to a scam.
